Dear Parent,
We are excited to announce that AWANA will be resuming soon at Grace Bible Church. We will be meeting on Friday’s from 6:30-8:30 PM starting September 14, 2012.
The AWANA program is open to kids from Preschool through i9th grade. This year as in the past we will use Myers Corners Elementary School for game time on some nights (see attached schedule). Pre-school children (Cubblies) will meet at the church. Kids in Kindergarten through 2nd grade (SPARKS club) should be dropped off at Myers Corners Elementary School at 6:25 PM and kids in 3rd through 6th grade (Truth & Training club) and 7th through 9th (TREK) should be dropped off at Grace Bible Church at 6:30 PM. All kids should be picked up at Grace Bible Church at 8:30 PM.
This year we want to improve our communication to you. We ask that at the time you register your kids you indicate whether you prefer to receive news and cancellation information via e-mail or phone calls. We will also do our best to keep the website up to date with any changes as soon as new information is available.
We can always use extra help, from listening to kids recite verses, to helping with games, to serving in the nursery. You do not need to be a member of Grace Bible Church to help, we just ask that you are in agreement with the AWANA doctrinal statement.
We look forward to working with all the kids that God will bring to AWANA this year, helping them to serve, love, and obey Him better.
