The antagonism between Jesus and the Pharisees reach the point of blasphemy as the Pharisees try to get Jesus to conform to their legalism and Jesus corrects them. Jesus also begins to teach in parables in order to conceal the truth about His kingdom from His enemies while revealing to His followers.

We are to love those that God loves, for Christians are to be reflections of Jesus, and that includes engaging people in spiritual conversations even if our initial impression of them is that they would not be interested. Harris,  January 13, 2008.    In this sermon Pastor Harris traces the Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming of the promised Messiah and shows that Jesus is the only one that could fulfill them. He was of the correct blood line while avoiding the cursed blood line; born in the right place at the right time; was without both inherited and personal sin; and demonstrated by His many miracles that He is the Son of God.
